IT'S FEBRUARY 29TH!!!!
Normally for special days like today, I would create a little something to celebrate. However, I've been pretty stressed out lately and my schedule is tight.
I am supposed to be asleep right now, but I do not want to miss out on having fun during this leap year, especially since it is also the birth date of one of my favorite albums of all time.
Although this wasn't the album that introduced me to Lemon Demon, it was the one that got me hooked and helped me feel better when I was going through a tough time.
It's obvious that the band is known for its silliness, but nothing compared to the joy I felt when I listened to this album in full for the first time. Listening to Spirit Phone was like shedding my worries, every song is made of fun and they inspire me to create.
I could ramble about this album for longer, but sadly I don't have a lot of free time left. Happy birthday Spirit Phone!!!
